Pilgrimage of the Faithless

To publicize this interfaith project, I am putting together a promotional video. For the video, I am compiling short (approximately 5-15 second) video clips of members of Hinduism, Judaism, Buddhism, Islam, Christianity, and Sikhi (and maybe Humanism) briefly describing their faith. Do you know anyone who would like to contribute?
Each clip needs to be begin with the phrase
[Religion] is…
For example, “Hinduism is a family of religions with many paths to God” “Christianity is about living life around unconditional love for your fellow man” “Buddhism is a religion of peace” etc.
If you would like to contribute you will be taking part in a project that I genuinely believe can make a real positive difference to the world. I’m on a tight budget, but I if desired, I can pay a token payment for accepted videos.
If you know anyone who might be interested, please ask them to message me the following details:
[Religion] [Gender] [Age] [The quote about the religion (between 1 to 3 sentences)]
N.B. The clips would be particularly effective if the individual is wearing traditional religious clothing and/or are in an attractive, possibly religious setting. Although this is not an absolute requirement.

Syrian Santa: A Video Interview

When I was in Jordan, I heard about a Muslim, Syrian refugee working as a Santa Claus actor in a mall. I knew I had to try and meet him. You’ll have to forgive the dodgy camera/interviewing skills. I’ll spare you my excuses, but it was a steep learning curve!

“Pilgrimage of the Faithless has the potential to make a real difference – to combat intolerance, build bridges between cultures, and remind us all of our shared humanity” Simran Jeet Singh, PhD. Assistant Professor of Religion, Trinity University. Senior Religion Fellow, Sikh Coalition.

As you may have noticed, the site isn’t quite finished yet. I’m hoping to launch the project’s fundraising appeal in spring 2018. If you’ve been clever enough to find your way here already, feel free to subscribe so you’ll be first to hear about any developments.

“It’s fascinating – a great idea, really original and maybe well needed in the days and years ahead” Rabbi Danny Rich, Chief Executive of Liberal Judaism, U.K. Representative of the World Union for Liberal Judaism, Justice of the Peace
